Thumbnails

Get thumbnails with every video — automatic or in your own styles — and where to find them in the result.

Thumbnails come from the preset. To choose per video, send thumbnails:

Field	What it does
`enabled`	`true` to make thumbnails, `false` for none.
`styles`	`["auto"]` — VidNext designs three from the video — or up to 5 of your own style IDs from `GET /v1/thumbnail-styles` (Thumb Lab styles, yours and your team's). Don't mix `auto` with styles.
`prompt`	Your idea for the thumbnail (up to 4,000 characters).
`exact_prompt`	`true` sends `prompt` as is, without VidNext's research.
`reference_urls`	Up to 5 public `https://` images to take after.

In the result

A video that asked for thumbnails turns completed once they are ready too (or after 15 minutes at most), so a webhook never arrives before them. Then:

result.thumbnails — the images (url, aspect_ratio, variant, style_id; width and height when known, otherwise null).
result.thumbnails_status — how the thumbnails went (completed, failed…), or off when the video has none.
GET /v1/videos/{id}/thumbnails — the same list on its own.
